History - I think this has died so I didn't go any further. Bob 12/17/22New, 2014The idea of the Langara
Cup is to create a Ryder Cup Style event competed for with team and
individual match-play matches. The Club will be divided
into two teams captained by the Club Captain and the Club President. The competition is held
over two weeks with the first week being two-man match-play and the second
being individual match-play.
Teams and individuals
collect one point for a win and half points for matches that are halved.

We are hoping that this event will evolve over time, and we are
open to ideas to improve its format.]
